About

Ben Roe is a singer, actor, and composer based in New York City. Working across Musical Theatre, Classical, Jazz, and R&B styles, Ben brings versatility, depth, and storytelling to every performance.

Originally from a small town in Texas, Ben discovered his love of music early on, exploring instruments and performance opportunities wherever he could. His passion for singing led him to formal study under Dr. Blythe Cates at Austin Community College, where he focused on classical vocal technique and built the foundation for his distinctive sound.

He continued his training at The New School in New York City, where he has developed as both a performer and a creator. Since moving to NYC, Ben has appeared in a range of musical settings and genres, from theatre productions to studio collaborations.

In addition to performing, Ben is the composer and co-lyricist of FireHouse, a new original musical currently in development. With a strong technical background and a deep passion for musical storytelling, Ben strives to create authentic and emotionally resonant performances that connect with audiences.
